“Biddeford-based Atlantic Sea Farms is a woman-run, seaweed farming and food product company. Founded to support fisheries in the face of a rapidly warming Gulf of Maine, the company provides its partner farmers with kelp seed and then contracts to buy back their harvests. Atlantic Sea Farms currently has more than 40 partner farmers. Their product line includes Sea-Veggie Burgers, Seaweed Salad and Kelp Cubes for smoothies.”
