IMMUNITY BOOSTING KELP SMOOTHIE
Paleo, vegan, and vegetarian-friendly. Makes 24 oz.
Kelp and kale partner together with lemon and apple to create the flu-fighting machine we need to survive Maine winters. You might not have to chip ice off your boat to go to work, but your health will still benefit from this new superfood smoothie. Bring it on, winter!
- 2 cups kale, leaves roughly torn
- 1 Atlantic Sea Farms Kelp Cube (or 2 TB kelp)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 red apple
- 1 cup coconut water or almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice, as needed
- Chia seeds, optional
Add all ingredients to a blender; puree until smooth.
