Superfood Kelp Smoothie Recipe

Who says winter lacks fresh, seasonal foods? Local cranberries, Atlantic Sea Farms kelp, and the ever-prevalent kale come together to revolutionize the green smoothie by adding a much-needed dose of iodine.  

Paleo, vegan, and vegetarian-friendly. Makes 24 oz.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1 large bunch of kale, stems removed and leaves roughly torn
  • 1 cup fresh organic whole cranberries
  • 1 organic banana, frozen
  • 1 Atlantic Sea Farms Kelp Cube (or 2 TB Atlantic Sea Farms Ready-Cut Kelp)
  • 1 TB honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to blender; puree until smooth.
