About the Sales Marketing Manager Role at Atlantic Sea Farms

Atlantic Sea Farms is looking for a strong, experienced, and ambitious Sales Marketing professional with proven experience in grocery CPG sales marketing and a keen understanding of the importance of voice and brand integrity in all communications and activations. The right person for this work is a committed, collaborative, and energized individual with a strong independent work ethic, a high level of attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role will be responsible for effectively ideating and executing sales marketing campaigns and one-off promos that drive trial and velocity of our first-to-market products in natural and conventional grocery, as well as food service distributor marketing programs.

Experience in sales marketing promos and trade spends in grocery is required. Experience in natural food sales is also preferred. You will work directly with Atlantic Sea Farm’s CMO and in collaboration with the marketing and sales department, including broker partners, and interact daily with our full team. 

Key Responsibilities:

You will report to Atlantic Sea Farm’s CMO and work closely with the sales team to deliver on programs in sales marketing, trade shows and events. You will work directly with the Content Marketing Manager to execute corresponding design and asset support, and ideate digital marketing campaigns to support your efforts.

  • Execute brand-wide trade spends and promotions:
    • Work closely with the CMO, Sales Team and other stakeholders to create a trade marketing strategy that aligns with annual business plans, sales targets, and account/ distributor needs 
    • Assist Sales Director in executing promotions in line with distributor and retail promotional calendars
    • Manage submission of all corresponding forms and paperwork
    • Manage detailed monthly reporting  
  • Execute customer and distributor marketing programs that directly support overall shopper marketing strategy:
    • Manage all in store displays and POS materials
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities to market our products within retailer-owned social media and newsletters
    • Manage coupon programs: all formats
    • Manage shopper app programs: all formats
    • Manage submission of all corresponding forms and paperwork
    • Manage detailed monthly reporting

  • Execute events alongside the sales team
    • Support experience marketing programs including a national demo/sampling calendar
    • Staff and support trade shows
    • Staff and support vendor events
    • Staff and support community events

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in executing grocery trade spends, coupon programs, and promos
  • Robust understanding of CPG distribution
  • Keen attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to manage complex and detailed reporting
  • Reliable with a positive attitude
  • Eager team player
  • Constant curiosity to best represent our vertically integrated business model

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or another related field
  • 3-5 Years of Sales Marketing Experience 
  • Strong portfolio highlighting successful trade spend, promo, demo, and couponing campaigns 

This position would be paid an annual base salary (based on experience $45-52k), have access to the company’s health benefits package and paid vacation. This is not a remote position.
